Inverclyde's home of property, Bowman Rebecchi is celebrating after being named as a finalist at the prestigious Herald Property Awards for Scotland.

The shortlists have been announced for all 17 categories and announced today, with Bowman Rebecchi nominated for the Property Team of the Year Award.

The Gourock-based business will face off against Glasgow PR Agency, Perceptive Communicators, and Cumnock modular build firm, The Wee House Company at the glittering awards which take place on Thursday, 28 September in the DoubleTree by Hilton in Glasgow.

The awards will be an opportunity for industry networking as well as a celebration of the Scottish property industry’s achievements.

From amongst a huge number of entries, shortlists have been drawn up in all 17 categories as the panel of judges, chaired by chartered quantity surveyor, Tom Barclay, completed the lengthy process of visiting each home and development in order to determine which will be this year’s winners.

Amongst those shortlisted are Kirkwood Homes, The Gullane at Inchmarlo, a contender for Best Show Home sponsored by DAW Signs. Caldwell View by The Wee House Company is in the running for the Best Family Home award sponsored by Vision Spaces, while Dalton Avenue, Clydebank by Clydebank Housing Association with Coltart Earley Architecture is in the running for the Affordable Development of the Year category sponsored by NHBC

The Green Housing Award is sponsored once again by Lowther Homes part of the Wheatley Group, and the finalists here are 107 Niddrie Road by Southside Housing Association with CCG (Scotland) and John Gilbert Architects; 2 Firth Road, St Margaret’s, Rosslynlee by Oakridge Group; Amancara, Mangersta by The Wee House Company and Rowanbank Gardens by Artisan Real Estate.

Meanwhile, finalists in this year’s Development of the Year category sponsored by s1homes include Ballumbie Rise by Stewart Milne Homes; Five South, Giffnock by Westpoint Homes, and Longniddry Village by Cruden Homes & Places for People.

But the event doesn’t just highlight outstanding properties, it also celebrates those professionals within the property industry who have made a significant contribution to their companies and to the house-building landscape in Scotland and this year’s Awards will also recognise the Residential Sales Team of the Year, Estate Agency of the Year, sponsored by Landmark Scotland and Residential Letting Team of the Year sponsored by Safe Deposits Scotland.
