Leading property firm, Bowman Rebecchi continues to pledge its support to several schemes designed to ensure increased opportunities and remove barriers to work as it celebrates National Apprenticeship Week 2024.

The Gourock-based firm is celebrating its latest success as its marketing executive, Rhys Elliott has completed his digital marketing apprenticeship.

Rhys, who lives in Greenock, initially joined Bowman Rebecchi in 2021 as part of the UK Government’s Kickstart Scheme in a role designed to support the Home of Property’s software upgrade onto a cloud-based programme.

Rhys showed superb commitment to the role which was extended from an initial 6-month contract to an initial year as his role started to support the marketing of the business.

Following the successful migration, the business was keen to retain Rhys and he was offered the opportunity to study towards his digital marketing apprenticeship with Bowman Rebecchi in 2022.

The role, which was supported and part-funded by Inverclyde Council, saw an increase in hours for Rhys as he balanced his studies with his marketing role with Bowman Rebecchi.

Rhys has since developed into a key component of the team, supporting a wide range of marketing activities across all business activities, as well as its residential lettings business.

Reflecting on the completion of his apprenticeship, Rhys said:

“I’ve had superb support from Bowman Rebecchi and I’m hugely grateful for the opportunities they’ve given me.

”The business is constantly striving to improve and provides me with lots of interesting opportunities and challenges to improve my skills. I’d like to thank Marco, Andrew, and all of the team for their support.”

Based in Inverclyde, Bowman Rebecchi provides specialist and extensive commercial, residential, and factoring services across the West of Scotland.

Alongside its residential arms Bowman Rebecchi Letting and Bowman Rebecchi Estate Agents, (joint ventures with Glasgow-based Rosevale Letting) the group currently manages over 1,300 properties across west and central Scotland.

Other businesses within the group include Rebecchi Architectural and A&M Advertising, which specialises in Out-of-Home Advertising, and Harbour Lets, a redevelopment of the former Albert Hotel in Gourock now available for short-term let.

Bowman Rebecchi Director, Andrew Bowman said:

“Rhys is a real credit to himself and has developed into a superb asset for the business since starting with us in 2021.

“We’d all like to wish him sincere congratulations on the completion of his apprenticeship and look forward to watching him continue to grow with our business.”

Bowman Rebecchi is deeply rooted in the local community, with an ongoing commitment to support, grow, and nurture opportunities to support the Inverclyde economy.

The Bowman Rebecchi group is also committed to tackling the cost-of-living crisis with a Fair Work approach, ensuring workers are paid at least the Real Living Wage - currently £12.00 per hour in Scotland.

Its readiness to engage with charities, groups, and causes has seen the business support more than 40 organisations in the past three years, through a mixture of financial donations, time-in-kind, or promotional support.
