Three prominent Inverclyde businesses have announced ten-year leases to expand into new office premises at the heart of Gourock town centre.

Bowman Rebecchi and Rebecchi Architectural have concluded the long-term deals for the first-floor offices located at 32-36 Kempock Street, set above anchor tenant Sainsbury’s.

The premises were previously leased to a long-term tenant, who had let the two floors upon completion of the development but vacated in 2020 following the expiry of its lease.

Bowman Rebecchi Residential Letting will also relocate into the new offices after its launch in December, as part of its joint-venture with Riccardo Giovanacci, Managing Director of Glasgow-based agency, Newton Letting.

The new offices will ensure all three companies will remain in Gourock as they vacate their current premises, also set on Kempock Street.

The expansion will see the businesses double their existing floor space to 1,800 square feet and create additional floor space to support future growth plans.

Rebecchi Architectural owner, Marco Rebecchi said:

“Rebecchi Architectural has enjoyed a sustained period of growth in the past few years and this next step creates further opportunities for the business to develop and increase our employees.

“We are delighted to secure the new offices, which delivers the much-needed space for all three businesses to develop and continue to collaborate.

“Our search for new premises has been ongoing for some time, so to be able to secure these outstanding facilities so close to our current base is a fantastic result.

“We have enjoyed seven great years on Kempock Street and would like to thank all of our clients for their support and continued business.”

The offices originally developed and completed in 2013 and include a balcony providing spectacular views of the River Clyde.

Bowman Rebecchi Director, Andrew Bowman said:

“This is a tremendous boost, not only for our own companies but also to the local economy which relies on footfall and businesses to support the local independent traders all year round.

“We were determined to keep our business base in Gourock, and these new premises provide the springboard and security required for continued growth in the coming years.

“All of the businesses are currently expanding their employee numbers and we look forward to continuing to create new employment opportunities for locals.”

Bowman Rebecchi Residential Letting Director, Riccardo Giovanacci said:

“Since launching our new residential arm, we’ve enjoyed a sustained period of development to ensure the company is ready for this planned expansion.

“We’ve invested heavily into proven cloud-based systems and our processes, with our initial clients and tenants feeling the benefits of this as we continue to welcome more property owners.

“There are considerable opportunities to grow our residential letting business across the west of Scotland, and we expect to develop further in 2021.”

Bowman Rebecchi is also marketing the second-floor suites at 32-36 Kempock Street, which provide 800-925 square feet of modern office space including air conditioning, internal lift, kitchen and intercom. For more details, visit Bowman Rebecchi.
